Chocolate Fondant

Tom Flavin's Homemade Chocolate Fondant
Ingredients
- 250 gr Butter
- 250 gr Chocolate (½ white, ½ dark)
- 50 gr sugar
- 5 whole eggs
- 50 gr flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
Method
1. Melt the butter and chocolate in a metal bowl over boiling water or in a microwave.
2. Whisk sugar and eggs together , until creamed.
3. Whisk in butter and chocolate mixture.
4. Sift flour and baking powder and fold into the chocolate mixture
5. Portion into buttered cups, approx 60gr each
6. Refrigerate for half-an-hour
7. Cook in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 15mins, or until centre is soft to touch but firm on the outside
8. Tip out fondant onto a plate and enjoy with a big scoop of ice-cream
